Gasherbrum II is 8035 meters above sea level. Es wird auch als K4 anerkannt. It is the 13th highest mountain in the world. It is located in the Karakoram Mountains, the second highest mountain in the world. On July 7, 1956, three Austrians successfully climbed the giant peak. These Austrians included Hans Willenpart, Josef Larch and Fritz Moravec. The summit is too rocky and too icy to climb. Experienced climbers can climb the GII if they use technical skills.
