Thui Pass Trek
Trekking in the Hindukush Range in Pakistan is a popular activity for outdoor enthusiasts, and one of the most well-known treks in the region is the Thui Pass Trek. Here’s some information about it:
- Thui Pass Trek is a challenging trek that takes you through the heart of the Hindu Kush Mountains in Pakistan. The trek begins in the Ishkoman Valley and leads to the Chapursan Valley. The trek lasts for around 10 days, covering a distance of around 100 km.
- The trek takes you through high-altitude mountain passes, verdant green valleys, and sparkling glaciers. The views are simply breathtaking, with towering peaks, dramatic landscapes, and remote villages.
- The Thui Pass Trek is not for the faint of heart, as it involves steep ascents and descents on narrow trails. The trek involves crossing several high-altitude passes, including Thui Pass (4,800m), which is the highest point of the trek.
- The best time to go on the Thui Pass Trek is from June to September when the weather is relatively mild, and the days are longer. However, the weather in the region is highly unpredictable, and it’s essential to be prepared for sudden changes in weather conditions.
